Dear Vendors and Delegates;
Our 43rd MetroUser's meeting was held in Tucson and was a great success. Based on the positive feedback and the attendance in Tucson we are moving forward with plans for a conference in 2012. We have considered the valuable input from our Delegates and Vendors and tried to balance everyone's needs in our selection for the 2012 conference. The industry continues to struggle and those of us committed to the survival of print must collaborate to ensure success.

Why Florida??
As many of you know, we have held a number of very successful conferences in Florida. The location provides many facilities that can meet Metro Users Group needs and there are a number of major international airports providing access from around the country and world.

Why June??
Traditionally, we have held our conference during the winter months. First, because this was a slower production season, and secondly to provide a warm get away to those up in the North. While the production may be slower in the winter, many of us are busy throughout the year with staff reductions and consolidations. The other major consideration is price. We are all extremely cost conscious these days. Florida room and airfare rates drop significantly at the end of May.

Our goal is to keep expenses as low as possible, the location as convenient as possible, and the facility as pleasant as possible; All with the hope that many of you will be able to attend. Please plan your 2012 budget and calendar to include the Metro Users Conference. We need your help as we continue to find ways to support the print industry.
