Letter to Vendors
Dear Vendor: If you would like to participate in the Vendor Display, we are offering the following: $1,200 includes one (1) 6' x 2' table skirted with 2 chairs, two (2) vendor badges for admittance to all Metro Users social functions (breakfasts, lunches, and receptions), plus two (2) MUG logo shirts or jackets with this package, extra badges** can be purchased for additional representatives of your company for $275/each which allows admittance to all Metro Users social functions, plus a MUG logo shirt or jacket.To secure your display table, mail a check payable to Metro Users Group, Inc., along with the completed Vendor Display Registration Form (enclosed) to: Wayne Bean, c/o Los Angeles Times, 20000 Prairie St, Chatsworth, CA 91311. We must receive your registration fee by December 31, 2002 to give vendors on the waiting list the opportunity to participate. Only the first 50 checks received will have a table. Display Set-upOnce again, we will be giving away door prizes in the vendor exhibition area during each break. To be eligible to win, the MUG member must be a registered participant and be in the vendor exhibition area at the time of the drawing, which will be held randomly during the break. Although the exhibition hours have been extended to 7:00 PM, it is not necessary that you remain in the vendor room until that time - it will be your option to do so. Any additional requirements at your booth (phones, electrical needs, etc.) will be handled by the following companies & contacts: Drayage/Electric/ Phone Lines information:Room reservations are to be made directly with the Sheraton New Orleans at 504-525-2500 or toll free at 800-627-7033 (Registration form and brochure enclosed). This year, the cocktail receptions will feature appetizers and buffet-style dinners. So with this in mind, you may want to forego making dinner reservations for these evenings. The annual Metro Users Golf Tournament is Saturday, January 25, 2003 shotgun start 8:00 AM. (Registration form and brochure enclosed) Eastover Country ClubThe golf course is 20 minutes from the Sheraton Hotel, they have two 18 hole courses.
